The Pilgrim’s Cross, shaped by Guido Dettoni contains, and it is contained by the shape of the pilgrim’s shell.
The hole evokes the spear of the centurion.
This Cross, prolonged, becomes a cane for the “Camino de Santiago”: its cross is carved in beech wood and the cane is lathed in Galician oak.
